Sometimes when it is Halloween you have to throw on a gown, put on your mickey mouse ears and put liquid eyeliner everywhere but your eyes. Happy Halloween and my last day of being 25!

Roaring Twenties Halloween

When dressing as a flapper, you must have a bob haircut. I wasn't prepared to cut it all off so I tucked it all under for a faux bob.

Some of my dear friends in San Diego were having a Halloween party so I happily drove down the coast and spent the night dancing away!

Dinner for Six

Tonight was just great. I am really active in my church and one of the ways my church does church is through smaller home churches called community group. Our community group is actually fairly large so every few months we do this fabulous thing called dinner for six where we split into groups of six for dinner to get to know each on a more personal and intimate level outside of our normal meetings. Tonight, my group headed down to the South Pasadena Farmers Market which I happen to think is a magical land. I had delicious tacos from HomeGirl and then capped out the night with Butter Pecan Ice Cream from the one and only Carmella's! Seriously, Carmella's in heaven in my mouth!

Ugly face contest! We are such a pretty group!

Darling Magazine Launch

One of my very favorite things about the life I get to lead is the people I get to meet and the projects it turns into. About a year ago, I found out about Darling Magazine and instantly fell in love with the hearts of the women behind this project. The magazine is so empowering and beautiful. It leaves you feeling beautiful and inspired and excited!

You can imagine my excitement when it opportunity arose for me to use my own talents and work towards getting some press for this fab magazine. The launch party was a little over a week ago and it left me feeling excited, empowered and inspired. Check out some of the pics from the very talented photographer (and my dear friend) Sarah Shreves.

It was a pleasure to host the fabulous blogger and my new friend, Hallie from the fab blog Hallie Daily
